A child needs their own time

Isabella really appreciates her toys when she has been away from them. Yesterday she played for almost two hours in her bedroom with her barbies and dolls etc. She invented a tea party as well as repeating a scene from the play we saw on Broadway "The Little Mermaid." I believe this time is crucial for children. They need to learn to play by themselves, they also need to create and have imaginary play. Whenever it is possible, even in the busy lives we lead, children must be give time to just be with their things and play.
