Choose a topic

Instead of worrying about seperating the core subjects, English, Maths etc choose a topic such as The Eiffel Tower, draw it, measure it, write about it, research it, cook french food and speak french. Suddenly they have done a whole weeks work covering every topic.

Non standard measuring. At the moment Isabella is going around measuring everything. Sometimes with a ruler but also with her teddy. So our bed is ten teddies long etc. Measure anything as you are walking along to the supermarket.
