Homeschooling article

In Angels and Urchins issue Autumn, there is a fab article about homeschoolers. We are on the increase, people are making more choices about their childs education. Also I am following homeschooling on Twitter.

The tutor

We are still having Katie our fantastic tutor twice a month, this is really helping teach Isabella the techniques that I might not know exist these days. I also feel it is important that we are still doing lots of extra curricular activities as well. We have so many amazing places on offer around us in London, our aim is to make the most of all the free galleries and museuma. September

Well, we have hit September with our feet barely touching the ground. Isabella has been to lots of auditions and got a couple of them. Clubs are back up and running and filming is still taking place. It is not any harder or easier homeschooling. It is still fun and we are still please with our decision to take some time out. Isabella has three schools that we are considering for the year 3 intake. Lady Eleanor Holles, all girl private, Hampton Court House private flexi school and St Marys the local state school. We are going to try all three and see what we think. The other thing to consider is that we might move. So we may move to another part of England or another country. I think it is important for everyone to try different cultures. So a very exciting time for all of us.
